POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
In Town Transportation

Your bike and your feet will be your primary means of transportation in our stopping towns and all facilities and services listed on the in town cue sheets and maps in each stopping town are within a reasonable distance to walk or cycle to.

When you bike anywhere in each town we recommend always bringing your lock with you to keep your bike safe. If you bike somewhere in town with another participant we also recommend locking your bikes together for added security. If a criminal sees a bunch of nice bikes sitting together they'll be less likely to mess with all of them as opposed to one nice bike sitting alone by itself out of sight because they'll figure that everyone will be watching out for everyone else's bike.

We cannot provide transportation for you, your bicycle, or your baggage in town. Our support vehicles are not taxicabs and we do not have the resources to transport you wherever you want to go whenever you want.

Events Bike Ride Services
Events Bike Ride Services can shuttle you, your bike, and your baggage within each stopping town. This is perfect if you have a change of plans and decide to stay in our supported hotel after you arrive or if need help getting to or from the Amtrak train station if you are doing a partial day trip. Click Here for more information.

Local Bus Service and Taxicabs
If you want to go somewhere in town that is not a reasonable distance to walk or bike to, you can also use the local bus service or call a taxicab. When available, phone numbers for local bus service and taxicabs are listed on all in town maps.
