Daily Itineraries

There will be 6 days of riding (7 if you continue on the Tri-State Tour), 7 stopping towns, and 3 optional arrival/transportation days.

Daily Itineraries
Here is the itinerary for each day:

• Saturday, July 10th
  • Transportation Service to Carbondale and Cairo
  • Transportation Service from Carbondale to Cairo
  • Arrival in Cairo
• Sunday, July 11th - Riding Day 1
  • Cairo to Carbondale
• Monday, July 12th - Riding Day 2
  • Carbondale to Centralia
• Tuesday, July 13th - Riding Day 3
  • Centralia to Effingham
• Wednesday, July 14th - Riding Day 4
  • Effingham to Champaign
• Thursday, July 15th - Riding Day 5
  • Champaign to Kankakee
• Friday, July 16th - Riding Day 6
  • Kankakee to Chicago (for participants not continuing on the Tri-State Tour)
  • Kankakee to Hammond, IN (for participants who are continuing on the Tri-State Tour
• Saturday, July 17th
  • Transportation Service from Chicago (for participants not continuing on the Tri-State Tour)
  • Tri-State Tour #1
• Sunday, July 18th
  • Transportation Service from Chicago (for participants who are continuing on the Tri-State Tour)

Morning Departures
Every ride will begin with a group departure at 6:30 am from both the main lodging site and the supported hotel.

The only exception to this time will be our departure from Cairo on the first riding day, where all participants will depart the Cairo main lodging site at 7:00 am. This delayed start time is necessary to accomodate participants staying at the Cairo suported hotel who must use our shuttle vehicle service because the supported hotel is not located within a reasonable cycling distance from the main lodging site.

Lunch Stops
Lunch will be served at the third rest stop every day except from Cairo to Carbondale where it will be served at the fourth rest stop.

On average, lunch will be served after about 60 miles of riding.
