Metra Trains
Instead of walking from a Metra train station to the Chicago hotel,
it may be significantly easier and faster to travel using a CTA L train
or taxicab with your bike and baggage.

Notes
1. You could arrive at the main transportation
staging site after our arrival deadline time (including the walking
time from the train station).
We can still accommodate you if you will be arriving
on one of these train lines since we will still
be busy checking people in and loading their bikes and
baggage, but you must inform us you will be doing
so when you register so that we will expecting
you to arrive late. If you do not specifically inform
us that you will be arriving on one of these trains
we will not wait for you.
2. You definitely will arrive at the main transportation
staging site after our arrival deadline time.
Do not plan on arriving on these train lines since they arrive in
Chicago significantly after our check in time and we will not be
able to accommodate you arriving this late.
3. You could or definitely will depart Chicago after our
estimated actual arrival time after the end of RAGBRAI.
Use caution when planning on departing Chicago on these train lines
and make alternate travel plans accordingly, particularly
for RAGBRAI ending towns further away from Chicago. |
