Paper Registration Forms

• Click Here to download the paper registration form for our round trip RAGBRAI transportation service if you do not wish to pay the additional processing fees charged by RaceRoster or prefer to pay by check, money order or Zelle. (only online registration is available now because the event is less than one month away)

Paper registration will only be available for our round trip RAGBRAI transportation service. In order to maintain a current accurate list of available seats and assure that we receive all of your information and payment in a timely manner due to laspes in mail service all registrations must be done online:

• For all initial deposits before our full price schedule is announced
• For all remaining amounts due from an initial deposit after our full price schedule is announced
• For all one way trips
• Once only ten seats remain on either bus
• After regular registration closes

Our Transportation Service

• Nov. 15th, 2023
  • Registration on an initial deposit basis opens to guarantee space on our RAGBRAI Transportation Service
• Shortly after the RAGBRAI route is announced on Saturday, Jan. 27th, 2024
  • We will announce our full price schedule and all new participants must pay the full registration amount (initial deposits will no longer being accepted).
• March 15th, 2024
  • Deadline for participants who previously registered on an initial deposit basis who decide
    • TO PARTICIPATE to remit their remaining balance due to us
    • NOT TO PARTICIPATE to request a refund
  • Deadline for participants who previously registered on an initial deposit basis to submit all missing personal travel and lodging information in Chicago
  • Deadline for reduced pricing and guaranteed seat availability for postponed 2020 participants.
• June 22nd, 2024 - 12:00 am CDT
  • A late fee of $30.00 each way will be assessed for all new registrations.

Initial Deposit Registration
Registration for RAGBRAI is now on a first-come, first-served basis and no longer utilizes a lottery system. Accordingly, before the RAGBRAI route and our full price schedule is announced we will accept registrations on an initial deposit basis. This way you can be guaranteed a spot on our transportation service immediately after you initially register for RAGBRAI itself and guarantee your personal plans as appropriate.

After our Full Price Schedule is Announced
After our full price schedule is announced, all participants who registered on an initial deposit basis must remit any remaining amount due through our online registration form by 11:59 pm CST March 15th.

Or, if you decide that the full price for our transportation service is more than you are willing to pay, we can issue you a refund of your registration fees minus an administrative fee of $30.00 if you submit your refund request by 11:59 pm CST March 15th. Please note that if we have reached our registration limits and have a waiting list when you cancel, we will immediately offer your seat to another participant on our waiting list and another one may not become available in the future.

If you do not remit the remaining amount due or submit your refund request by 11:59 pm CST March 15th we will cancel your registration and seat reservation and you will forfeit your entire deposit.

After our full price schedule is announced all new registrations must pay the full registration amount and we will no longer accept any more registrations on a deposit basis.

Personal Travel and Lodging Information
It is critically important for our planning and capacity considerations that you provide us with the following information about your personal travel and lodging plans when you register so we can assure the availability of such things as seats on the coach busses and spaces for bikes on both our standard and premium bicycle transportation services:

In Chicago:

• If you will you park your car in Chicago long term during the week of RAGBRAI
  • If yes, is your drop off location in Chicago after the end of RAGBRAI at the parking garage or hotel if applicable
• If you will you will be arriving in Chicago on the Saturday morning before the start of RAGBRAI on some specific train lines, so we will be expecting you to arrive late can still accommodate you since you could arrive at the Chicago hotel after our arrival deadline time (including the walking time from the train station)
• When you will give us your bicycle in Chicago before the start of RAGBRAI
• When you want your bicycle in Chicago after the end of RAGBRAI

You may omit any of your specific personal travel and lodging information in Chicago if you do not know it yet when you register on an initial deposit basis. However, you must submit all missing personal travel and lodging information in Chicago to us by by 11:59 pm CST March 15th, the same deadline to submit your remaining amount due. If we do not receive your missing information we will make the the following assumptions:

• You will NOT park your car in Chicago long term during the week of RAGBRAI.
• You will NOT will be arriving in Chicago on the Saturday morning before the start of RAGBRAI on any train.
• You will drop off your bicycle in Chicago on the Friday before the start of RAGBRAI as part of our standard bicycle transportation service.
• You will pick up your bicycle in Chicago on the Sunday or Monday after the end of RAGBRAI as part of our standard bicycle transportation service.

After our full price schedule is announced all new registrations will require all of your specific personal travel and lodging information in Chicago.

In the RAGBRAI starting, previous, and ending towns:

• What your drop off location is at the start of RAGBRAI (our transportation staging point (near the RAGBRAI main campground) or Pork Belly Ventures camping location)
• Where will you give us your baggage at the end of RAGBRAI (the previous stopping town on Saturday morning or the ending town on Saturday afternoon)

If the specific locations in the RAGBRAI starting, previous, and/or ending towns have yet not been announced when you register, you may omit any of your specific personal travel and lodging information related to that town if you do not know it yet.

After the specific locations have been announced in each RAGBRAI town, all new registrations will require all specific personal travel and lodging information related to that town. If you had already previously registered, we will follow up with you to submit all of your specific personal travel and lodging information related to that town. If we do not receive your missing information we will make the the following assumtions:

• Your drop off location at the start of RAGBRAI will be at our transportation staging point (near the RAGBRAI main campground).
• You will you give us your baggage at the end of RAGBRAI in the previous stopping town on Saturday morning.

Registration Limits
Our registration limits for both transportation services will be in increments of 56 people, the capacity of a standard charter coach bus.

Once we reach our registration limits we will maintain a waiting list and if enough people are on the waiting list we will charter an additional coach bus as possible.

Regular Registration Deadline and Late Registration
The regular registration deadline for all RAGBRAI transportation services will be at 11:59 pm CST, Friday June 21st, 2024, which is exactly one month before the start of RAGBRAI.

After the regular registration deadline a late fee of $30.00 each way for our transportation service will be assessed.

Travel Insurance
If you do not participate and would like a refund you MUST purchase an individual travel insurance plan, which will reimburse you according to the plan coverage. Many plans are very reasonably priced.

As part of your initial online registration you will have the option to purchase an individual travel insurance plan offered through RegShield. This plan must be purchased as part of your initial online registration - it cannot be added later.
