Long Term Parking
Our first stop in Chicago will be at the parking garage to drop off people who parked their car there during the week of RAGBRAI. Doing so will not add much time since the Chicago parking garage is directly on the way to the Chicago hotel, not many people will depart there, and we will only drop off people at the Chicago parking garage and not any baggage.

If you parked your car long term in Chicago it will be much more convenient to get dropped off directly at the parking garage than having to go all the way back to the parking garage from the Chicago hotel. After you get your car, you will need to drive over to the Chicago hotel to pick up your baggage and your bicycle if you are doing the premium bicycle transportation service.

Not dropping off any baggage at the parking garage allows us a significantly faster departure time from the RAGBRAI ending town because we won't need to segregate baggage into separate drop off locations and also a faster arrival time at the Chicago hotel because we won't need to unload anything at the parking garage.

You must pre-register to get dropped off at the parking garage, otherwise we will drop you off at the Chicago hotel.

Coach Bus Staging Point
After we have dropped off people at the parking garage we will drop off all remaining people and bagagge at the Chicago hotel.

Premium Bicycle Transportation Service
We will drop off all bicycles transported as part of our premium bicycle transportation service directly at the Chicago hotel. You will almost definitely need to wait for our bicycle moving trucks to arrive after the coach bus(ses) do, and the Chicago hotel will be a nice place to do so.

Standard Bicycle Transportation Service
We will also drop off all bicycles transported as part of our standard bicycle transportation service at the Goose Island brewery Saturday night and you are welcome to there come over there from the Chicago hotel and pick up your bike that night. While we cannot make any guarantees about our expected arrival time or how long you may have to wait for for your bicycle to be available, you can always call us at our main phone number (877) TOUR-ILL [868-7455] for updates on our progress that day.

Departure Using Local Public Transportation
Most (but not all) trains and busses will still depart Chicago after our latest possible actual arrival time (particularly for RAGBRAI ending towns further away from Chicago), including the walking time from the Chicago hotel to the train station and you should make your individual travel plans accordingly.
