Morning Departures
Every ride will begin with a group departure unless otherwise noted.
By
leaving this early you can take the most advantage of daylight hours to assure
a comfortable
arrival time in the next stopping town while leaving plenty of time to be able
to replenish yourself at our rest stops and handle anything unexpected that
might
happen
during your ride such flat tires and mechanical problems. It is
also generally cooler to ride in the morning and safer and more enjoyable since
there
is
less
traffic
on
the
road.
Departures from the Supported Hotels
If you need to ride from the supported hotel to the ride starting location
in the morning you will need to leave in time for the
group departure or earlier if you want to load up on snacks
and/or
sports
drinks for the upcoming ride.
Otherwise you will start the ride directly from the supported
hotel at the group departure time. It is extremely important that you
depart the supported hotel at this time since our on road logistic support
plans depend on the same group departure time for all participants. |
