PLEASE
PLAN ON ARRIVING AT THE STARTING LOCATION PROMPTLY
AT 6:00 AM – OTHER
PARTICIPANTS WILL BE DEPENDING ON YOU. It
is critical that all participants
promptly
leave the starting location on time in order
to maximize the amount of time they have to complete
the
event.
Check in at the starting location will begin
at 6:00 am and end promptly at 7:00 am. Please
plan on checking in as early as possible because the
more time you have to get your bike ready and to stock
up on snacks and sports drinks for the upcoming ride
the better. We also may not be able to assure
a timely departure if all our participants decide to
check in at 6:40 am.

At 7:00 am we will conduct an opening meeting
where we will describe our policies and procedures
and answer any questions you might have. After the
opening meeting is complete the route will officially
open with a group departure. Attending the opening
meeting in mandatory for safety purposes and participants
may not depart before the route opens.

Rest Stops and Route Closing Times
There will be 6 supported rest stops on the
route including the starting and ending locations. These
rest stop locations will officially be open during specific
times, during which we will provide our on road support
services.
The
entire route and all support services will close
at 6:30 pm to assure a timely departure for the return
transportation
service
from
Kenosha. All participants must have arrived at the
ending location in Kenosha by that time, including
all participants doing the Kenosha century loop option.

Lunch
A deli, hot dog, and ice cream stand will be available directly at rest stop
4 in Waukegan for you to purchase on your own. We strongly recommend planning
on eating lunch there since rest stop 4 is the perfect distance to have
lunch
at and you can
be absolutely
sure
you be able to depart rest stop 4 by its official closing time.

Your arrival time at the ending location
could be anywhere from early afternoon to mid-evening,
depending on
a number of different factors including where you
start and end your ride, your riding pace, and weather
conditions.

Food After the End
of the Ride in Kenosha
We will have a full rest stop set up after the end of the ride in Kenosha so
you can replenish yourself from the previous ride.
There is also a bar and restaurant available
directly at our ending location at the Kenosha
hotel! If you want any food after the
end of the
ride
in
Kenosha
other than our rest stop it
will
be on
your
own
and
is
not
included in registration.
