If you want to change out of your cycling clothes, enjoy your favorite special post-ride treat, or go swimming or use the whirlpool at our ending location at the Kenosh hotel after your ride is complete we can transport a small personal bag for you to your ending location and it will be waiting for you there when you arrive! We recommend bringing a change of clothes, your swim suit, a towel and washcloth and any other personal items you may want at the end and for our return transportation service from Kenosha after the end of the event. Baggage loading into our support vehicles will occur during the check-in times so that you can prepare for the opening meeting and route opening. You will need to bring your baggage to our vehicles yourself.

Pick Up and Delivery Locations
We will transport your personal bag from and to the starting and ending locations you indicated on your registration form (either Waukegan or Kenosha).

We cannot deliver baggage to any rest stop locations other than Waukegan or Kenosha.

Waukegan Baggage Delivery Tags
Each baggage item to be delivered to Waukegan must be identified by two separate Waukegan baggage delivery tags so we can easily identify which baggage items should be delivered there. The tags will be a different color than the event wristband and you will receive them as part of your registration materials at event check in. We require two separate tags on each baggage item in case one comes off in transit and the tags should be placed as far apart from each other as possible to minimize the chance that both would come off at the same time. It will be your responsibility to make sure that every piece of your baggage items has the two required baggage delivery tags on it. If a piece of baggage does not have any Waukegan baggage delivery tags on it it will be delivered to Kenosha.

In the extremely unlikely event that both tags come off we may still be able to identify where your bag should go based on your personal information on your baggage item and our previous experience with your specific baggage item. We may also call you on your cell phone to verify your baggage delivery plans, but if there is any doubt your bag will be delivered to Kenosha since this is where the majority of participants will have their bags delivered.

Changing Ending Locations
If you indicated that you would be ending in Waukegan when you registered and decide to end in Kenosha the day of the event, we can transport your bag from Waukegan to Kenosha after rest stop 4 closes. If you want your bag in Kenosha sooner you can also carry it on your bike yourself.

If you indicated that you would be ending in Kenosha when you registered and decide to end in Waukegan after you start the ride we will not be able to transport your bag from Kenosha to Waukegan, so if you want your bag in Waukegan you will need to carry it to Waukegan from Kenosha yourself on your bike yourself.

Otherwise if you are unable to retrieve your personal bag before departing please let us know and we will make arrangements to return it to you after the end of the event.

Supported Hotel Baggage Pick Up and Delivery Service
We will not be providing baggage pick up or delivery service to or from any supported hotel for any participant who is not continuing from Bicycle Illinois. You will need to take all of your baggage with you to the starting location in the morning and should not leave it at the front desk for us to pick up.
