PLAN ON ARRIVING AT THE STARTING LOCATION PROMPTLY
AT 6:00 AM – OTHER
PARTICIPANTS WILL BE DEPENDING ON YOU. It
is critical that all participants
promptly
leave the starting location on time in order
to maximize the amount of time they have to complete
the
event.
Check in at the starting location will begin
at 6:00 am and end promptly at 7:00 am because like
you,
we
will need to get ready for the upcoming ride. Please
plan on checking in as early as possible because the
more time you have to get your bike ready and to stock
up on snacks and sports drinks for the upcoming ride
the better. In addition, we will not be able to assure
a timely departure if all our participants decide to
check in at 6:40 am.

At 7:15 am we will conduct a mandatory opening meeting
where we will describe our policies and procedures
and answer any questions you might have. After the
opening meeting is complete the route will officially
open with a group departure. Participants may not depart
before the route opens.

Rest Stops and Route Closing Times
There will be 5 supported rest stops on the
route including the ending location and we will provide
our
on road support services during the times the rest
stops and routes are officially open.
The
route will close at 6:30 pm in order to assure a
timely departure for the return transportation service
from
Kenosha. All participants must have arrived at the
ending location in Kenosha by that time, including
participants doing the Kenosha century loop option.

Lunch
A deli, hot dog, and ice cream stand will be available directly at rest stop
4 and we strongly recommend planning on eating lunch there. Rest stop 4 will
be the perfect distance to have lunch at, and you can be absolutely positive
you be able to depart rest stop 4 by its closing time.
Arrival
at the Ending Location and Check Out
Your arrival time at the ending location to be anywhere
from early afternoon to mid-evening and depends on
a number of different factors.

Dinner
Dinner after the end of the event will be on your own and is not included in
registration. Downtown Kenosha is very close to our ending location and we
highly recommend bringing some money with you getting dinner there, particularly
if you will be taking the return transportation from Kenosha back to Chicago
or Hammond.
