Greyhound Bus
Service
Greyhound Bus service is available in all of
our stopping towns except Centralia and Cairo. Taking
the Greyhound Bus may be a better alternative for you than
taking
the Amtrak train if your final
destination is somewhere not between Chicago and
Carbondale along the Amtrak route, such as Indianapolis or
St. Louis.
If you want to arrive at the start of the event in Cairo
via the Greyhound bus, you will need to arrive in Carbondale
and take
our transportation
service
from Carbondale to Cairo from the Carbondale Amtrak train station.
If you take
the Greyhound bus you will need to get your bike
boxed at one of our supporting bike shops since Greyhound does not allow
unboxed bikes on their busses.
