BICYCLE ILLINOIS
Tri-State Tour Registration
Participants of Bicycle Illinois can register for the Tri-State
Tour at the same time they register for Bicycle Illinois.
If you wish to register for the Tri-State Tour after
you have completed registration for Bicycle Illinois, you
will need to go through the entire separate Tri-State Tour
event
registration process.
Even if you have registered for the transportation service
from Chicago on Sunday morning, you will still
need to purchase the transportation from Kenosha to Chicago
or Hammond separately. Also, registration for the Tri-State
Tour will not include a box lunch, so you will need to purchase
that separately as well.
Although it might seem like a hassle to have participants
of Bicycle Illinois register separately for some of the options
Tri-State Tour options already included on
Bicycle Illinois, we must
do it this way because a significant
number of people
just
doing the Tri-State Tour prefer not to include these option
because the Tri-State Tour is only a single day event for
them and is managed accordingly as a separate event
from
Bicycle
Illinois.
The total
price of the Tri-State Tour with all these options is only
about $5 less than the price of one riding
day of Bicycle Illinois. The price of the full Bicycle Illinois
event
is $599 for 6 riding days if you do the full tour, or $99.83
per day, and the price of the Tri-State Tour with all these
options ends up being $94.75 ($45.00 for registration,
$40.00 for the return transportation from Kenosha, and $9.75
for
the box lunch).
Registration Materials
You will receive all of your registration materials
for both events at the same time
when you check in to Bicycle Illinois. You will not have to
check in separately for the Tri-State Tour.
Certificate of Completion
You will only receive
one certificate
of
completion but your combined mileage will show your
combined total mileage and days cycled from both events.
You will automatically have your certificate of completion
mailed to
you since this service is already included in registration
for Bicycle Illinois, while people just doing the Tri-State
Tour
will receive
their certificate of completion
at the ending location in Kenosha.
